Who is TuinPlan for?
TuinPlan is built for households that want to improve their garden but get stuck in loose ideas, too much inspiration and uncertainty about the best next step. It is especially useful when you want to understand and plan a real garden instead of collecting mood images only.
Does TuinPlan work with my own garden?
Yes. TuinPlan starts from your plot, your photos and your input. That makes it feel less like generic inspiration and more like direction for your actual situation, with attention to plot shape, the position of the house, sun and shade, day-to-day use and what is already there.
What do I get in the demo?
The demo is meant to let you experience the first value of TuinPlan without subscribing right away. The app starts with 50 credits so you can go through the first flow, explore directions and see how TuinPlan approaches your garden.
What do I get with the subscription?
The subscription costs €9.95 per month. Based on the current product setup, it includes 500 credits per month, multiple design scenarios, full editing capabilities, cloud storage and more room to turn garden visions into a plan.
Is TuinPlan the same as a landscape designer?
No. TuinPlan helps you arrive better prepared, compare scenarios and choose a realistic direction. That makes it easier to decide what to do yourself, what to phase later and when to involve a professional. For many people it is not an either-or choice: TuinPlan helps you reach strong starting points faster, and a designer can still add custom detail afterwards.
Do I need to tackle my whole garden at once?
No. One of the key ideas behind TuinPlan is phased work. You do not have to demolish everything or execute a full master plan immediately. The goal is to move from chaos to a logical next step.
Can I make choices together with my partner or family?
Yes. That is exactly why scenario comparison and shareable garden visions matter. When you look at a few clear directions together, the conversation becomes more concrete and agreement comes faster.
Can I use TuinPlan next to Pinterest, ChatGPT or a landscape designer?
Yes. For many people that is the smartest route. Pinterest is useful for taste and examples, ChatGPT for loose ideas or questions, and a landscape designer for custom work. TuinPlan adds something different: AI inside the context of your plot, photos, sun and shade, multiple scenarios and shareable garden visions.
Are demo designs stored forever?
No. The current in-app copy states that demo designs remain available for 14 days. The subscription is meant for people who want to keep, compare and develop their work without that time pressure.
Can I collect products and materials from a direction?
Yes. In Explore you can collect products from garden visions and later connect a chosen direction to planning and the next executable project step.
Do I need an account immediately?
For the first experience, the app activates a demo account so you can explore the core flows right away. The emphasis is on value and direction first, not account friction.
What happens to my data?
You can find privacy, support and account deletion options in the app and through TuinPlan's public service pages. For the legal details, we refer to the privacy policy and terms on this site.
Where should I start if I feel completely stuck?
Do not start with materials or a full quote. Start with your current garden, your biggest frustrations and one improvement you want most. Once that is clear, it becomes easier to compare scenarios, choose a sensible first phase and only then involve products or contractors.
